This country is full of stereo types of top echelons of functionaries: Administrative, Judicial and Constitutional. Elected or appointed, makes no difference, in not being a stereotype.
A President should always be a cautioner, congratulator and mourner. Habitually he warns the nation against divisive forces.
A Prime Minister must always appear to be consensual, but must act like a conspirator and dictator with a secret agenda.
A CJI incoming or outgoing, must always express anguish about pending cases and exort the Govt. to strengthen the judiciary.
A Parliament Speaker must always speak of decency and decorum of the House. It is his job no doubt, yet the Speakers' expressions have become hackneyed. Nevermind, she has sided with the Government in turning of TV, while passing the Telangana Bill.
A Home Minister must always declare that he will handle terrorism with iron hand.
A Governor must always carry scissors in his hands to inaugurate statues.
An MP must always make allegations and shout slogans unless he is speaking.
Die caste in moulds.
