According to the Press, the MPs involved are:
1. Shri Rajiv Shukla 2. Shri M.S. Gill 3. Shri Tarlochan Singh 4. Shri Vijay Darda.
The MPs claim that it will help Maharashtra wine farmers.
THIS BLOGGER'S VIEWSShri Rajiv Shukla is a Congress MP. He is also a Vice President of BCCI.
Shri M.S. Gill is a Congress member in Rajya Sabha. He is a former Chief Election Commissioner.
Shri Vijay Darda, a Rajya Sabha MP, also seems to be from Congress. He represents Lokmata, a Maratha journal.
Shri Tarlochan Singh, is apparently independent, supported by BJP. He is also in Rajya Sabha. Chairman of National Commission for Minorities of India (NCMI).
NOW WE CAN IMAGINE HOW POWERFUL, THE INDIAN LIQUOR LOBBIES ARE. SOME DAY, THEY WILL GET A LIQUOR BARON AS PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA! POOR FELLOW, MAHATMA GANDHI WOULD BE SILENTLY WEEPING IN RAJ GHAT!
